My name is Katerina, and I’m an artist at heart. Originally from Russia, I studied jewelry design for three years before moving to NYC, where I’ve lived for the past nine years. While my career has been in bartending, my passion has always been in the arts. I love drawing, painting, and creative expression, but I often struggle to find time for it. That’s one of the main reasons I decided to go back to school—to create space for my artistic growth and explore new creative fields.

I’m especially drawn to animation, character creation, photography, and video editing. The idea of bringing characters and stories to life excites me, but I know I have a lot to learn. I’m not the most confident with digital tools yet, but I believe creativity is about persistence, and I’m determined to improve.

Art, to me, is not just about skill—it’s about vision and expression. I want to develop my abilities, gain confidence with digital programs, and find a career where I can merge creativity with financial stability. My goal is to explore, learn, and grow as an artist, so I can build a future doing something I truly love.
